Marketing Tools for Apologetics Ministries

Apologist Ignite is your control panel for promoting your ministry to the Apologist ecosystem. Collaborate with other team members to list resources and events for believers to discover on Apologist Social. Ignite supports just about anything you can throw at it: text, PDFs, webpages, RSS feeds, YouTube videos, podcast episodes, and any video or audio file.

Embed Our Advanced AI Agent on Your Website

Create a custom chatbot for your site that uses only the source materials that you upload for context when responding to prompts. Or, mix and match materials from the community, including our library of classic apologetics works. Beacon is available on your website even when your staff isn't available to answer questions.

How Does It Work?

We exist to promote Christian apologetics resources and the organizations and individuals that produce them. It’s free. There is no catch. We just want to help you cast a wider net.

1
Sign Up for Apologist Ignite for Free
Sign up for Apologist Ignite. You will be prompted to create a user account, and then a team. You will be the owner of the team you create, and you may invite others to collaborate. Everything created within the context of your team will be owned by your team.
2
Add Listings on Apologist Social
Apologist Social (apologist.com) is a directory of Christian apologetics resources. Add contributors (apologists) that you represent. Then add listings for the your materials. Finally, create a profile for your organization (if applicable). Note that all listings require approval by our team.
3
Claim Existing Listings on Apologist Social
You may notice that listings for your organization, contributors, or resources already exist on Apologist Social. If so, simply reach out to us, and we’ll transfer ownership of any of the above to the team you created. We will arbitrate any dispute over control of listings on the platform.
4
Contribute Your Materials to Our Corpus
Apologist Agent (apologist.ai) is a conversational AI designed to answer questions about God, Jesus, and the Bible — from non-believers and believers alike. It has access to a wide range of Christian apologetics materials, all used with permission and cited. See below for details.

Meet Them Where They Are

We have built a generalized Christian apologetics conversational AI, and we are now building chatbots that are contextualized to specific worldviews. We curate Christian apologetics resources to provide the AI agents with relevant context from which to answer difficult questions about God, Jesus, and the Bible.

We are especially excited about the potential of worldview-specific chatbots to provide a contextualized experience to seekers. By first appealing to sources of authority the user already trusts, we are then able to tie those sources back to Christian doctrine — or point out the gaps in the user’s worldview for which Christianity has a better explanatory model. For example, check out Alim, our first worldview-specific chatbot that ministers to the Muslim community.

This contextualized approach was famously used in Paul’s sermon on Mars Hill in Acts 17:22-34, as well as of course by Jesus Himself in appealing to the Scriptures revered by the Jewish community of His day. This strategy has applicability outside the confines of other religions as well; one could easily imagine chatbots that minister to secular scientists by citing how modern scientific discoveries point to the Creator in their respective disciplines, for example.

For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them. To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law. To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.

~ 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 (ESV)

Contribute to Our Curated Apologetics Corpus

Contributing is Optional

Trust is paramount when dealing with copyrighted apologetics materials produced by organizations and individual apologists. Therefore, we only allow materials willingly contributed with permission — as well as public domain works — into our corpus. We vet each source for quality and relevance. Certain sources are well suited for our generalized chatbot, whereas some are better suited to our specialized agents that minister to specific worldviews — and sometimes both.

Contributing your apologetics materials to our corpus is completely optional. You are welcome to list your resources on Apologist Social without opting to allow us to use them with Apologist Agent. However, if you do choose to join the movement to reach non-believers by contributing your materials, rest assured that we have safeguards in place to keep you in full control of how they are used.

You are in Complete Control

We do not — and will never — train our model on your materials. We have fine-tuned a generalized apologetics model to answer questions about the Christian faith based on biblical principles using logical argumentation and grounded in orthodox Christian doctrine. We use a technique called Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), which provides our model with the context of contributed sources in real-time when answering questions posed by the user. Think of it as handing the chatbot a list of top search results to use in its response — only in this case the search results included are from curated, high quality sources that all promote a Christian worldview.

Our approach has several distinct advantages. By dynamically providing context to the chatbot, the time-consuming and costly process of re-training the model when new materials become available is unnecessary. Moreover, it allows us to mix and match sources from our corpus as needed for use in different contexts. Perhaps most importantly, you are in complete control of whether your materials are included in the corpus. If you contribute but later decide to pull your materials from the corpus, you need only disable a toggle in Apologist Ignite for that specific source, and it will instantly be removed from the corpus.

Your Materials are Cited

Any time our chatbot uses a given source as context for its response, it will cite the source to the user and show more information about it. You may customize the “Learn More” link for each source and point the user back to your ministry’s website — or to an online shop of your choosing so that the user can purchase the resource where it most benefits you. Inclusion of your materials by Apologist Agent is yet another channel to promote your ministry and its materials, while simultaneously joining us in fulfilling the Great Commission by using AI as a tool for the Kingdom.
